Because it was a day for unpacking, doing laundry and trying to catch up on emails and phone messages, supper was a matter of what was around.
While the washer and dryer ran, a pot of lentil soup simmered on the stove. And happily, there was one lemon and just enough lettuce to assemble a Caesar salad.
Satisfying. And good to be home.
