Today, one of our last days in this village, has been one of many tastes. Fresh oysters on the beach in the afternoon, the evening spent strolling the streets of town, checking out which vendor's made what.
I settled on a bowl of posole -- a beautiful soup filled with hunks of hominy. This batch wasn't made with the usual chicken or pork, it was filled with gigantically fat (and superbly fresh) prawns. Piled high with chopped cabbage, the bowl wore its own serving of salad.
I am happy and filled. Buenas noches.
