An evening for comfort food

It's been a difficult day -- one of frustration and what felt like spinning wheels. Good thing there are some perfectly ripe avocadoes in the basket. There's only half a lemon, but there's still a decent lime, so the reliably comforting 'guacamole pasta' it is.

Just enough green beans to make a bit of a side. A simple salad with oil and a splash of vinegar.

And to top off the pasta, a sprinkling of the season's first chives.

Bravo for the comfort of comfort food...Mmmm.
