This started out in 2009 as a year-long series of answers to an age-old question. At the end of that year, I thought I'd finished, but then in 2011, when we explored North America in an RV, like the proverbial cat, it came back. Since then, it's arisen occasionally. Just as it was back at the start, though I'm glad to share recipes, What's fer supper isn't a cooking blog. It's all about eating. Enjoy.

So many choices!
We spent today at the PNE, the Pacific National Exhibition. It started out 99 years ago as an agricultural fair, but today the farm aspects seem a small part of the show.
With so many differenct kinds of food -- everything from little doughnuts to emu burgers (and just about anything else you can think of in between), we settled for two combo dishes from a Vietnamese eatery. The styrofoam plates and plastic forks never add anything positive to a meal, still -- it was easy enough to 'do' the dishes.
We did a bit of exchanging this for that, so both ended up with a sampling of some very tasty foods.
